     It’s always important to be prepared when engaging in any outdoor excursion, whether it’s hunting, hiking, camping etc. It is during these times when we are at the mercy of nature. A person experienced in the world of outdoors knows the possibilities and thus knows to never go out without the proper equipment because if it comes down to a survival situation it’s a matter of life or death.

      For instance, one of the most notably crucial survival tools has long been known to be a knife. In the wilderness knives can serve a variety of functions which can make or break your survival. Survival knives may be needed for the construction of shelter, hunting or skinning game, shaping make-shift weapons and other things. But with all of the things knives can do they can only go so far.
